Ticket types & tiers
Sell across multiple ticket tiers, each carrying its own price, capacity, and sales window; the event's overall capacity is their sum, unless you cap it separately.

Capacity can't be lowered below what's already sold. To stop sales instead, set the sell-by to now.
How "sold" is counted
A ticket counts as sold the moment a buyer begins checkout, not when their payment settles. This keeps two buyers from racing for the last ticket.
"Sold" includes checkouts in progress, so an abandoned cart can show sold out for up to 30 minutes — a limit Stripe sets, not us. On a fast-selling tier the number can read slightly ahead of reality for a little while.
Changing tiers after sales start
You can rename a tier and raise its capacity at any point, including mid-sale. Price changes apply to future purchases only — nobody who already bought is charged again or refunded the difference. A tier with sales can't be deleted; set its sell-by to the past to retire it.
Limits per person
Any single order is capped between 1 and 4 tickets. You can also set a limit on how many one person can buy for the event in total, which is the setting that actually stops one account clearing your allocation.
Free tiers
A $0 tier is an RSVP rather than a purchase — no checkout, no card, no fee. You can mix free and paid tiers on the same event.
